In Sufism, the term of al-tariqa refers to a form of implementation of tawhid experienced by the seekers (salikin) who are the respectable people on the path of gaining Allah’s indulgence, in the way of varying altercation (al-manazil) and adorning themselves with various stations of belief (maqamat al-yaqin). Hence, it is a must for each and every generation of Muslims to have the leaders who will enlighten on importance of Muslims’ involvement in Sufis path in order to gain the objectives of al-tariqa as stated in its definition. The creed of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama`ah is believed by Muslim scholars all the time to be the foundation of faith for every individual who professed their faith. This article aims to clarify the role of Sufis Order in becoming the solid foundation for the remarkable achievement of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama`ah which is believed by every Muslim from the days before until nowadays. This qualitative study is based on content analysis by looking at how far the Sufis Order and Tasawwuf in the work of scholars have influenced the maintain of strong faith in Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama`ah. The study found that the diverse practices confined in Sufis are the important elements which become the substance of faith for Mu’min. This is because all practices pertained in Sufi are intentional to generate a tough faith in Allah, which is the basis in Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah’s belief. Deprived of the tawhid implementation, the beliefs in Aqedah will become tasteless and not sturdy enough to shield their believers towards the perfection of self-sacrifice to Allah almighty. Therefore, the view which conclude that a person who has good knowledge in Aqedah does not have to pertain the Sufis Order since they are not relatable, is a misconception that needs to be revised.
